Biography

Riyana Daulat is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin double majoring in international relations and global studies and Asian cultures and languages with a certificate in core texts and ideas through the Jefferson Scholars Program. On campus, she is a member of the Student Conduct Board, International Relations and Global Studies Council, and a peer mentor in the Jefferson Scholars Program. Off campus, Daulat interned with Environment Texas and was a volunteer reading tutor at the Boys and Girls Club of Austin. She spent last summer in a life-changing study abroad program in Rome, studying philosophy and the arts. After graduation, Daulat plans to join the Peace Corps and attend law school before eventually pursuing a legal career in human rights and social justice.
