Biography
Aine Garcia is a senior at The University of Texas at El Paso majoring in political science at her hometown campus. Living in a binational community and working at an immigration law firm exposed her to the realization that the U.S. immigration system needs help and that she wants to improve the lives of immigrants. Off campus, she is involved in Justicia Fronteriza, where she encourages her community to register to vote and be involved in their local elections while working on petition work to put ordinances on the ballot. She recently interned with a civil litigation law firm. After graduation, Garcia hopes to pursue a career in law.
