Biography
Aryan Verma is a senior National Merit Scholar at The University of Texas at Dallas majoring in neuroscience. On campus, he served as co-president of Comets HELP, a program aimed at preventing delirium in hospitalized geriatric patients and was a teaching assistant for neuroanatomy. He founded Memories Matter, a student organization that partners with the Alzheimer’s Association to advocate for policies targeted at improving the lives of older adults with dementia. Off campus, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Exercise and Environmental Medicine and as a Brain Bee coach for the North South Foundation. Verma is passionate about aging policy and plans to attend medical school after graduation.
