Biography
Caroline King is a junior honors student at The University of Texas at Arlington majoring in nursing with a minor in gender and women's studies. On campus, she served as a lead advocate for the Honors College Advocates, taught a college preparatory course to first-year students, and was the special affairs chair in Student Government. In addition, she wrote a literature review on rural midwifery practice as a student researcher. After graduation, she plans to practice as a labor and delivery nurse until she has clinical requirements to apply for graduate school or medical school, where she will specialize in women's health.
