Ezequiel Arnulfo Lozano is a first-generation college student and senior at The University of Texas at Austin double majoring in chemistry and government with certificates in Spanish for medical professionals and business. On campus, Lozano served as a first-generation representative in the UT Student Government, junior chair of the STEM Committee of TX Votes, peer ambassador for the University Leadership Network, and is a member of the Texas Blazers. With a focus on healthcare and immigration policy, he has conducted legislative research in the Texas House of Representatives. During the 87th Texas Legislature Session, he worked as a legislative aide to Texas State Representative Ryan Guillen (HD-31). Upon graduation, Lozano hopes to attend medical school and apply skills learned in Washington, D.C., to make informed policy recommendations to support immigrants' health.
