Biography
Joshua Smith is a junior at The University of Texas at Tyler majoring in political science with minors in international relations and psychology. On campus, Smith served as president of the UT Tyler Debate Team, is a member of the Honors College, and was a social relations officer for the UT Tyler First Generation Students Association, an organization he co-founded. Smith has a vested interest in international relations research and development, working closely with faculty members on globalization to discover its effect on international policymaking. After graduation, Smith hopes to enroll in a JD/MA dual degree program and pursue his interests in law, research, and policy.
