Rahma Arif is a junior at The University of Texas at Dallas majoring in healthcare studies and public policy. On campus, she served as the service coordinator for the Terry Scholars Program and was vice president of the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students. She also served on Student Government’s Campus Wide Accessibility Committee and the Diversity, Equity, and Belonging Committee, both dedicated to making UT Dallas accessible and inclusive for all students. Off campus, Arif held roles as an English tutor for low-income students in Garland ISD, a youth mentor for the Lions Club International, and a pro se asylum clinic volunteer. Arif recently interned with the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office under Quentin Palfrey as a grassroots campaign intern. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in global health policy, with a focus on equity, advocacy, and access in healthcare and disability.
