Sebastian Gallegos is a junior at The University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in finance. On campus, he served as president of the UTSA Legal Advocacy Association, where he oversaw mock trial and moot court competitions. As a Texas Civic Ambassador, he actively engaged in voter registration efforts and advocated for issues related to homelessness and hunger within the UT San Antonio community. Gallegos has gained valuable experience through internships with the Office of Texas State Senator José Menéndez (SD-26), where he served as one of the main analysts during the 88th Legislative Session. He has also worked at the Law Firm Goodwin Webber PLLC and has been involved with nonprofit organizations including Leadership Initiatives, which is focused on education advocacy for women in Bauchi, Nigeria. Additionally, Gallegos has gained exposure to various legal fields, including immigration and tax law. In his leisure time, he volunteers with VOICES, the largest volunteering organization at UTSA, and has contributed as a volunteer judge in high school mock trial tournaments.
