Biography
Kaitlynn Brackens is a junior at The University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in biology with a minor in civic engagement. Brackens is also a certified primary care technician and a clinical medical assistant. On campus, she served as an academic and career team leader of Students of Valor, a UT San Antonio student organization. She has extensive volunteer experience in her community, including at the University Health Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. After graduation, Brackens plans to enroll in a master’s program to become a physician assistant. Her ultimate goal is to advocate for and support underrepresented women in the healthcare system.
