Jocelyn Bridges is a junior Liberal Arts Honors student and Terry Scholar at The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in international relations and global studies with a minor in French studies and a certificate in security studies. On campus, she worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the LBJ School of Public Affairs and participated in the Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program on the Forgotten War Project. Additionally, she mentored elementary-aged refugees through Teaching Refugees to Understand English (TRUE). Off campus, Jocelyn has worked as a legislative aide for the Office of State Representative Salman Bhojani (HD-92) and as a political affairs intern for The Borgen Project, an international nonprofit that advocates for poverty reduction through legislation. After graduation, Bridges plans to attend graduate school and pursue a career in foreign affairs.
