Allison Frederick is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in architecture. On campus, Frederick has engaged in student leadership and advocacy through multiple organizations. She has served as president, treasurer, and public relations officer for UT Austin’s chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students, where she led and coordinated programming focused on equity and representation in architecture and fostered engagement with the possibilities and career pathways in architectural education. Her academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of architecture, environmental and social infrastructure, participatory planning, and community-led design. After graduation, Frederick plans to pursue architectural licensure while exploring research and policy work focused on equity in the built environment and its impact on quality of life.
