Amolika Kondapalli is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in informatics with minors in risk management and elements of computing. As part of the iSchool iRISE program at UT Austin, Kondapalli conducted research on human–AI interaction and emotional attachment to large language models, which contributed to a conference publication. She also participated in a yearlong cybersecurity clinic program through the Strauss Center for International Security and Law, assisting a small Texas business with cybersecurity risk management practices. Off campus, Kondapalli served as a research and data intern at Analytical AI, where she supported an AI-driven national security education initiative for Girl Security and conducted interview-based research with female national security leaders. Most recently, Kondapalli served as a global financial services risk consulting intern at RSM. After graduation, Kondapalli hopes to pursue a career in policy consulting and risk strategy focused on emerging technologies.
