Anika Damle is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in neuroscience with a minor in international business. On campus, Damle worked as a research assistant in the Statistical and Cognitive Neuroscience Operationalizations of Psychopathology (SCOOP) Lab at Dell Medical School. She also served as chair of Pie a President, the Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society’s philanthropy supporting Operation KidDocs, which provides pro bono surgeries for children in Guatemala. As a Cultural Ambassador with Texas Global, she promotes international engagement by supporting and engaging international visitors and exchange groups. Creatively, she has served as music director for Beauties and the Beat, UT's premier competitive treble a cappella group. Off campus, Damle volunteers at Lirios Pediatrics and at Camp CAMP, a respite center for individuals with disabilities, where she fosters inclusion and independence. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school and pursue a career as a physician focused on improving healthcare access and advancing global health policy.
