Juan Daniel Saldana is a senior at The University of Texas at El Paso, majoring in political science and psychology, with minors in legal reasoning, criminal justice, and communications. On campus, Saldana served as a senator-at-large, supporting international student initiatives. He served as chair of the Student Appointment Review Committee and co-chair of the Leadership and Welfare Committees within the Student Government Association. Saldana served as president of Consejo Mexicano para el Cambio Social en UTEP, marketing director for the Chicano(a)x Pre-Law Society, and recruitment director for Texas Rising, and was a Miner Ambassador. He was also an undergraduate research assistant and participated in the Law School Preparation Institute at UTEP. Off campus, Saldana interned with the General Counsel Unit at the El Paso County Attorney's Office, Ruhmann Law Firm, and the 34th Judicial District Attorney's Office. After graduation, Saldana plans to attend law school and pursue criminal and immigration law.
