Biography

Kelsey Green is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in government. Her interests center on higher education policy, civic engagement, and addressing disparities in the legal system. On campus, Green served as vice president and political action chair of the Black Student Alliance, where she advocated for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through campuswide discussions, programming, and community engagement in response to Senate Bill 17. She also served as connections and political chair for the Delta Xi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, coordinating voter registration drives and programs focused on social justice and equity. In addition to her campus involvement, Green interned with the Women’s Storybook Project of Texas, assisting with donor initiatives in the development department to support incarcerated women and strengthen family connections. After graduation, she plans to attend law school.
