Sonia Joshi is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, double-majoring in sustainability studies and geography with concentrations in natural resource management and geographic information systems. On campus, she serves on the Operations Committee for TEDxUTAustin and is a member of Green Events. Off campus, Joshi has worked as a campus sustainability intern, an environmental education intern with the Colorado River Alliance, and an environmental policy and advocacy intern with Public Citizen. For the past year, she has served as an environmental health and safety (EHS) intern at Saronic, gaining EHS experience in a manufacturing environment. Joshi is passionate about bridging sustainability and policy in industry to protect the environment. Upon graduation, Joshi plans to pursue a career in sustainability and EHS to drive tangible environmental impact.
