Winston Fu is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in government with a minor in Chinese and pursuing a commission as an intelligence officer in the United States Army through ROTC. Fu’s academic and professional interests include foreign policy, Indo-Pacific security, cross-Strait relations, defense innovation, and political strategy. On campus, Fu is an undergraduate fellow with the Clements Center for National Security, where he engages with national security scholars and practitioners on issues related to U.S. strategy and international affairs. In summer 2026, he worked as an undergraduate research assistant on human rights issues with the Robert S. Strauss Center for International Security and Law. After graduation, he intends to serve on active duty in the United States Army and later pursue a career in the United States Foreign Service focused on national security and international affairs.
