Zara Jamshed is a senior at The University of Texas at Dallas, majoring in business analytics with a minor in political science. On campus, she served as secretary of the Student Government's Legislative Affairs Committee, where she organized voter registration drives, hosted events with immigration attorneys, and launched the Civic Coalition, a student-led project investigating undergraduate students' civic engagement. Jamshed was one of the first officers of her university's Undergraduate Law Review and eventually served as its editor-in-chief and vice president. She was also the captain of the UTD Mock Trial team and competed on a national-qualifying team as a prosecution attorney. Additionally, she conducted research with professors on regime-support group defections, was an information technology intern with The University of Texas System, and served as a mentee in the Artificial Intelligence Society, where she analyzed political YouTube video content. After graduation, she plans to pursue a legal career.
