Claire Sarson is a junior at the University of Texas at Austin. She is majoring in Government and History and is part of the Liberal Arts Honors program. During her time at the University of Texas, she held internships with the Texas Freedom Network, a nonpartisan organization that advances religious freedom and individual liberties, and English at Work, a nonprofit that provides language instruction at the workplace. On campus, Claire helped organize the Act Local, Think Global conference to facilitate student involvement in international affairs. She has volunteered as a camp instructor for the Holy Cross Lutheran Church Summer Camp and participated in the Road Trip for Change during President Obama’s campaign. While in D.C., Claire will be interning for the Office of the Counselor to the Chief Justice at the U.S. Supreme Court.
