Biography
Lawrence “Larry” Dechant is a Broadcast Journalism Senior at The University of Texas at Austin. He is from Corpus Christi, Texas and is the oldest of three children. This semester, Larry will be interning at ABC as a news intern. His favorite pastimes include hanging out with friends, enjoying fine dining, listening to music, reading a good novel, and being with family. Journalism and music are his two passions. In the future, he hopes to become an on-air news reporter. After reporting, he hopes to anchor for a major television news station.
