Biography
Libby Sanders is a third-year Religious Studies major at the University of Texas at Austin, with a focus on American religion. For the past two years she has worked on a variety of scholarly projects as a research assistant, as well as interning at the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center. In the summer of 2009, she worked with the Religious Studies Summer Institute at UT to conduct their Teaching the Bible in Texas Public Schools workshop, which imparted academic, scholarly techniques for working with and teaching sacred texts to high school students. Libby also does design work, including the Religious Studies department logo and newsletter, as well as designing for the Texas Travesty, UT’s student humor publication.
