Nancy Palencia is a senior at the University of Texas at Tyler where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Pre- Law minor. Nancy served as Chair of the Economic and Social Commission for West Asia at the National Collegiate Model United Nations. She also served as Co-Chair for the Student Government Association Communications Committee, student representative for the University Judicial Affairs Committee, and Co-Chair for the Student Life Committee. Nancy has been named to the President’s Honor Roll, the Dean’s list, and an Academic All-ASC Honoree as a part of the UT Tyler cross-country team. She is an active member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society, and Alpha Chi National Scholar’s Honors Society. While in D.C., Nancy will intern with the Justice at Stake Campaign.
