Shannon is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin where she is double majoring in Business and Engineering. She is a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority, where she has served as Assistant Treasurer, Financial Vice President, and on Slating Committee. She has also given back to the community as a volunteer tax preparer with Foundation Communities. During her time in the business school, Shannon has worked as a peer career mentor and as the logistics coordinator for the Target Your Future Program, helping out new students in the business school. Shannon just finished an internship with International SEMATECH Manufacturing Initiative, where she worked in the ESH division researching environmental regulations and policies. During the spring 2010 semester Shannon will be interning with the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
