Mario “Alex” Mendiola is a senior pursuing his degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Texas-Pan American. Alex has served as President of the Students for Peace organization and Social Chair of the Pre-Law Society. He has also participated in legal-based study programs such as the Law School Preparation Institute and the Pre-Law Undergraduate Scholar program at the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, Arkansas. Alex has interned with Texas Rural Legal Aid and worked for Target, Power Pro Construction Company, and Re-max. He also volunteers for the Salvation Army, frequently traveling to Mexico to provide food and perform music for children in orphanages. Alex plans to continue his education in law school with a special interest in property/real estate.
