Katie Kinder is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Latin American Studies with a concentration in Anthropology. She is also pursuing an interdisciplinary certificate in International Studies through the Bridging Disciplines Program. While in Austin, Katie has held several internships including working for Texas State Representative Patrick M. Rose and Rylo Consulting, a political consulting firm. She was also a volunteer with the Bill White for Governor Campaign. During the summers, Katie interned with an international metal recycling company and traveled internationally representing the company’s business interests. Katie is an active member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity, and is currently serving the fraternity as Parliamentarian. While in Washington, D.C., Katie will intern with Congressman Charlie Gonzalez (D-TX).
