Kyndal Henicke is a junior at the University of Texas at Austin, where she double majors in International Relations and Global Studies and Spanish, while also pursuing a minor in Latin American Studies. Kyndal was recognized as a College of Liberal Arts Distinguished College Scholar in Spring 2012; additionally, she was soon after chosen by the faculty in her department as the top International Relations student. She has also served as treasurer of Texas Spirits, Internal Communications Chair for the Distinguished Speakers Committee, a counselor for Camp Texas, the undergraduate executive team member for the Subiendo Academy, and a member of Gamma Beta Phi honors fraternity. Further past involvement includes interning in the International Refugee Resettlement division of Caritas, studying abroad in Córdoba, Argentina, and being a dedicated weekly volunteer at the Austin State Supported Living Center.
