Biography
Jennifer “Michelle” Kearby is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a B.A. in Spanish, Government and International Relations and Global Studies. In pursuit of the degrees, she has had the opportunity to study abroad in Argentina, where she improved her Spanish fluency and in Ecuador, where she interned in the political section at the U.S. Embassy. When in Austin, she is involved in several organizations: Chi Beta Delta, a service sorority; the Language Circle Program, where she helps foreign students improve their English skills, and the PAL program, where she introduces a foreign student to the Austin area. As a freshman, Michelle helped the UT Women’s Rowing Team win the first-ever Big XII Championship as a rower.
