Preston Nix is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin. Preston is pursuing a double major in Honors Humanities and Government, with a specific interest in international development and international political economy. During his time at UT, Preston held leadership positions in Phi Chi Theta business fraternity, was a member of the University Investors Association, and served as a peer mentor for incoming freshman. From 2009-2011, Preston served as a University Ambassador for the University of Texas, giving tours and advice to prospective students. In his final semester he helped start a non-profit, ColorCancer, and currently serves on its board of directors. Preston hopes to find work in international development, on the policy level, and is looking forward to interning with like-minded agencies while in D.C.
