Dana “Dani” Litovsky is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in International Political Economy with a regional concentration in Latin America. During her three years at UT Dallas, Dani has been President of the UTD Amnesty International Chapter, member of the UTD Model UN Team, and has been involved with other student organizations, including the UTD Terry Scholars, who are selected for their community service and academic achievements. She has helped with a project regarding the use of urban planning projects to improve socioeconomic conditions in Colombia and a project about US asylum decisions. Dani was a Spanish translator and interpreter for Schwamkrug, Freshwater & Lopez, PLLC, and an investigative journalist assistant for IDL-Reporteros in Lima, Peru. Currently, she works as news stories translator for Comunicaciones Aliadas, based in Lima, Peru. As an Archer Fellow, Dani will be working as a Research Assistant at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
