Dustin Haley is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Exercise Science, with minors in Biology and Government while also completing his Business Foundations Certificate. In the spring, he will be interning at the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute. With this, he will further his work as a volunteer and advocate for foster children across the country. He currently volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in Austin, working with kids in the foster care system and helping express the best interest of children in court. On campus he was involved in Horns Helping Horns and the Physical Therapy Organization. Outside of campus, Dustin has also interned at several clinics and hospitals in the Austin area, including Dell Children’s Hospital. This past summer, Dustin traveled to Nepal where he volunteered in a pediatric orthopedic hospital. After the spring, Dustin will be continuing his studies as he pursues his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
