Jacob Becker is a senior at the University of Texas at Arlington where he studies Political Science and History. His intellectual passion is the study of international politics and international systems. During his time as an Archer Fellow he will be interning with C-SPAN with their program “Q&A”. While at UTA, Jacob has been an active member of campus. His positions as a Supplemental Instructor of Political Science, Peer Educator with UTA Relationship Violence and Sexual-Assault Prevention (RVSP), and president of the German Language Society each left a considerable mark on his development. Additionally, Jacob had the pleasure to work at the Office of Congressman Joe Barton throughout the year 2011. His latest honor was being sent as one of 2 representatives of UTA to the Washington Center RNC Academic Seminar Program.
