Leslie is a Junior at the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a degree in Political Communications with a minor in Government. Recently, Leslie has enjoyed working in the Texas Legislature and serving as president of the University Democrats during the US Presidential election season. Her focus at UT Austin has been ensuring student civic participation through her organization of the non-partisan Politipalooza, and the Big XII on the Hill lobbying trip with Student Government. Her more fond memories include being a Congressional Page during the 111th Congress and attending the 2012 Democratic National Convention as a Texas delegate. Currently, Leslie works for the United States Attorney in Austin and is looking forward to her return to Washington, D.C.
