Biography
Alejandra Gaytan is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin pursuing a major in English and a minor in Government. As a Dean's List recipient, Alejandra divides her time between her studies and co-directing a service organization, Contagious Smiles. Her passion lies in public service and she has interned for the Governor's Commission for Women and a nonprofit organization, Con Mi Madre. Presently, she is a research assistant for an NGO, Innovation for Peace and Development. Thrilled about being an Archer Fellow, Alejandra looks forward to the personal and professional growth she will experience while living in Washington, D.C.
