Biography
Daniella Diaz is a graduating senior at The University of Texas-Pan American studying mass communication. She started her journalism career at her college newspaper The Pan American two years ago, finishing up her last semester working there as Co-Editor-in-Chief. She interned with The Monitor daily newspaper in McAllen, TX as a city reporter and then The San Antonio Express-News daily newspaper as an education reporter. Before moving to Washington D.C., she attended UT Pan American and worked at The Monitor as a paid staff writer. She looks forward to working at NBC News as their investigative intern this semester.
