Biography
Gracie Cano is a senior majoring in history at The University of Texas at Brownsville. Besides history, her broad range of interests includes technology, photography, and human rights. She has worked for both the Center for Teaching and Learning and the Computer and Information Science Department at UT Brownsville. Last summer, she traveled across Spain and Poland while taking a photojournalism course. In October, she returned to Poland to attend the opening of a photo exhibition in which some of her work was displayed. This spring, Gracie will be interning with The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights.
