Biography
Jessica Ivonne Cisneros is a third-year student at The University of Texas at Austin where she is pursuing a degree with Liberal Arts Honors in Government and a minor in Philosophy. An avid supporter of immigrants' rights, Jessica interned at The University of Texas School of Law immigration clinic where she had the opportunity to work with clients in deportation proceedings and those applying for DACA. On campus, she is active in her sorority Sigma Lambda Gamma and has been previously involved in University Democrats, Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, PODER mentorship program, and the Order of Omega honor society. Jessica will intern in the office of U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar this spring.
