Biography
Joseph Sorenson is a senior Government and History major at The University of Texas at Austin. Among other activities on campus, Joseph has served as host of a political talk show on 91.7 KVRX and President of the Austin chapter of the American Renaissance Society – a nonprofit association that Joseph founded to facilitate intellectual discussion and open-minded dialogue in cities and college campuses, and for which he continues to serve as CEO. In 2012, Joseph was the State of Texas delegate to the Henry Clay Center for Statesmanship Student Congress in Lexington, Kentucky. He will be interning at the Center for American Progress with Generation Progress.
