Biography
Taylor Turner is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin pursuing a dual degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Communication. Taylor is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and a mentor for the Gateway Scholar Program. Taylor has been awarded "Up and Coming Reporter" and served as an online producer for Texas Student Television KVR News. During the summer Taylor is an Emma Bowen Intern at Comcast Cable Corporation. In addition, Taylor traveled to Beijing, China this past summer where she taught English at a school for migrant children and conducted research on media censorship. Taylor will intern in the International Programming Department at CSPAN.
