Biography
Ali Tejani is a third-year Eugene McDermott Scholar majoring in biology at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Although Ali is a pre-medical student, he has diverse interests in policy science, journalism, video production, and photography. He has interned at the American Heart Association as an advocacy intern, and conducted research with carbon nanotubes at UTD. On campus, Ali served as the Communications Chairman in Student Government, news anchor for UTDallas TV, and Student Ambassador for alumni relations. Ali hopes to pursue a career that combines his interests in medicine, media, and policy.
