Biography
Christine DeMyers is a graduating senior at The University of Texas at San Antonio, pursuing a degree in anthropology. She is interested in anthropological research that can positively influence environmental justice. At UTSA, she has served as the President of the student organization Roadrunners for Renewable Resources, Vice Chair of the Green Fund Committee, and is currently the campus representative for the Clinton Global Initiative University. This past summer, Christine participated in a research project on climate change and food security at the Smithsonian Institution. This spring, she will intern at the Environmental Protection Agency’s Sustainable and Healthy Communities Research program.
