Biography
Kelsea Wilkerson is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in sociology and a minor in African and African diaspora studies. During the fall semester, Kelsea got her first taste of the political world by interning at Texas House of Representatives Speaker Joe Straus’s office. At UT Austin she is an active member in the pre-law division of the National Black Law Students Association and in her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Kelsea is interning with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and will be placed in the office of a U.S. Senator. After graduation, Kelsea will attend law school.
