Biography
Shantanu studies economics and government at The University of Texas at Austin. While working full time for the U.S. Treasury, he will also be working part time for the Department of State. His interests concern entitlement programs such as Medicare/Medicaid as well as the rise of China, and what it means for the U.S. To better understand this question he spent last summer studying abroad in Beijing. He is also a rider for the Texas 4000 team. In 2016, after raising money for research he will bike 4500 miles from Austin, TX to Anchorage, AK to promote seeking a cure for cancer.
