Biography
Arjun is a University of Texas at Austin senior double majoring in government and Middle Eastern languages and cultures. His study of Arabic inspired a passion for helping Middle Eastern communities sustain themselves. Working in Egypt with a gender equality project and developing self-sustainable micro-business owners on a farm in South Africa solidified Arjun’s interest in development policy—a nexus of issues Arjun is eager to learn more about while in D.C. Excited to use these experiences, Arjun hopes to work in the Middle East to pursue a career in sustainable development policy after graduation.
