Biography
Demetrius Martinez is a senior at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley majoring in political science and minoring in legal studies and statistics. As a student leader, he has served as a co-president of the Pre-Law Society, secretary to Eta Omicron Nu under the Guerra Honors program, and as secretary to the Dean's student advisory council. As a student researcher, he presented his senior honors thesis on local healthcare in the Rio Grande Valley at the National Undergraduate Research Conference. After graduating, he plans to pursue a joint degree in law and public policy.
