Biography
Luis is a senior at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley double majoring in economics and finance with a minor in mathematics under the “Honors with Highest Distinction” track. Luis has interned with the Keystone Research Center in Harrisburg, PA, and presented his undergraduate research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Upon graduation, Luis plans to pursue a Ph.D. in economics. His current research interests lie in the fields of game theory, macroeconomics, and applied econometrics. Luis lives in McAllen, TX, but is originally from Tampico, Mexico. His hobbies include running, playing basketball, eating, and reading.
