Biography
Anishka is a junior McDermott Scholar at The University of Texas at Dallas pursuing a degree in biology with a minor in public health. She is interested in global health as well as international health economics and policy, particularly in the area of non-communicable diseases. On campus, she is involved in a global health organization called END7 and has also conducted research on Gulf War disease. Anishka believes that her experience in the Archer Fellowship Program will allow her to better understand the relationship between government and healthcare. After graduation, she hopes to attend medical school and continue working in global non-communicable diseases.
