Biography
Lauren is a fourth year Eugene McDermott Scholar at The University of Texas at Dallas pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology with minors in both public health and political science. Lauren is interested in global health, ecology, and their intersections in policy. She studied abroad in India, where she studied health care practices; as well as Peru and Malawi, where she learned about biology field research. After graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in public health.
