Biography
Ruben is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin. He is double majoring in government and communication studies with a focus in political communication. Ruben has served as an elected representative in UT Austin Student Government, as a member of Communication Council and was recently inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He has interned for Texas State Senator Sylvia Garcia, U.S. Congressman Lloyd Doggett, and District Judge Robert Cadena. Upon graduation, Ruben plans to attend law school with the hope of later returning to his hometown of Del Rio, Texas, to serve the community that has given so much to him.
