Biography
Tonia is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in public health with a certificate in healthcare ethics. She is interested in pursuing health care advocacy and reform, with particular focus on pediatric care. She interned with the clinical ethics department at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and served as a research assistant for the Institute for Urban Policy Research and Analysis. On campus, she has been involved as the vice president for Texas Public Health. During her Archer Fellowship, she wants to try every single restaurant in Washington, D.C., if humanly possible.
