Biography
Bahar Sahami is a senior Dedman Distinguished Scholar in the honors program at The University of Texas at Austin, double majoring in government and international relations with a minor in Middle Eastern studies and a certificate in global management. Sahami serves as editor-in-chief of the Texas Undergraduate Law Review and president of the Student Conduct and Advisory Committee. She founded Longhorn Veritas, which increases transparency of on-campus research resources. Sahami has been a research intern in the UT Austin Department of Government and a legislative intern at the Texas State Capitol. She is passionate about pro bono legal aid and public service, and plans to pursue law school after graduation.
